Notes by Christen: Your Turn

Last week I was on the phone doing an interview with the wonderful Jen Cushman. Not only does she regularly contribute here, she also is a columnist for Belle Armoire Jewelry. We talk a lot, and it’s always a fun conversation. She was asking me about some of our methods for recruiting artwork. As I was talking with her she praised me for being able to answer the questions quickly and with ease. I told her it was because I get asked the same questions over and over again, so I have our submission procedure memorized.

It was then that I realized that whenever I post anywhere, I choose to write about how to get published. I figure that’s what people want to know from me. That got me thinking that it’s probably time to find out what exactly you want to know. Are there any questions you have for me? Are there any behind-the-scenes peeks you’d like to have? Please comment on this post, or email me at colivarez@stampington.com to let me know what you’d like to see me cover in upcoming posts. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Wanted to let you know that we (Paige King) and I are selling Somerset magazines in our little art shop, Creative Corner @ Hodgepodge. It is thrilling to watch customers react to the beautiful art and projects within the magazines. Thank you for publishing such a professional and resourceful media piece.
