Calling all Zentangle® and Zen Doodling artists: we want to share your art!
Meditative doodling has always been popular (who doesn’t love a great flourish on a notebook page?) and now with the huge success of books like Kass Hall’s Zentangle Untangled, we want to give you MORE! More tangles, more doodles, more Zen Doodles!
And that’s where you come in…Your art could be featured in our new book Zen Doodle: Tons of Tangles if you share it with us. It’s that easy. Here are the details.
What: Your original Zentangle® or Zen Doodle tiles (approximately 3.5″ x 3.5″). Have you created a new pattern or used an existing one in a unique way? We want to see! (Sorry, no mugs, doors, pianos, or any of those other more exotic places or sizes for tangling. We’ll save that for later. Just tiles please.)
When: Now, Monday, January 14th, 2013 through Friday, February 15th, 2013
Where: Online! Post pictures of your tiles:

- email us info@createmixedmedia.com
- Pinterest — be sure to tag us in the comment @CreateMixedMedia otherwise we won’t see it.
Cost: Nothing! This isn’t a formal competition so there is no entry fee to submit your tangled tiles.
What’s in it for you: If your art is selected you get bragging rights for having your art published in a North Light book, plus you get a free copy of the book so you can prove it to your friends.

(A little fine print: If your art is selected, you must be able to provide a high resolution image of your final tile, along with tiles demonstrating the first three steps toward creating your tile so readers can practice. You must hold the copyright to your artwork. This contest isn’t connected to or endorsed by the official Zentangle® group in any way, but we do love their work!)
