Collage, Painting & Two-Dimensional Subject Design Class


Do you sometimes find materials that you’d like to incorporate into an artwork? Looking for new possibilities to open up the way you create images? Whether you’re simply curious about collage or an experienced artist seeking to expand your practice, this course will provide skills and insights to help you make pictures using found materials and mixed media techniques. This is designed as an introductory course for artists at all levels of experience.

Taught by Maya Brym through the Artist’s Network University, the course begins June 12, 2012 and last for four weeks. During that time you’ll learn basic paper collage techniques, basic techniques for mixed-media painting and creating pictures through 2-dimensional design. If you are new to collage or if you just want to revitalize your approach to image-making, this is the course for you!
