Sheri Gaynor is a mixed media artist and photographer as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist and professional Life Coach. Sheri’s company Feisty Females™ offers women, individual transformational coaching, on-going creative expression workshops and retreats. A: My new community studio

A: My Flip and iPhone
Q: What’s the best book you’ve read lately?
A: Just finished Refuge by Terry Tempest Williams
Q: What’s the most inspiring trip you’ve ever taken or adventure you’ve ever had?
A: A yearlong adventure in search of myself and my country, in a 15-foot, 5th wheel travel trailer with my husband and 14-year old black lab.
Q: What’s the last thing you cooked?
A: Mushroom Barley Soup
Q: If you could surround yourself with only one color, what would it be?
Q: Do you have a talisman/power garment/magical thing you wear?
A: I wear a heart with wings, created by my friend Harmony Scott. I gave one to myself and my mom when she entered Hospice, and we have not taken them off.
Q: What’s your favorite place in all the world?
A: Italy…Cortona before Under the Tuscon Sun discovered it…
Q: What’s the best day you’ve ever had?
A: A safari in Mala Mala, Africa

A: Chocolate…OF COURSE!

A: Georgia O’Keefe
Q: Why do you make art?
A: Because a part of my soul will die if I don’t….
Q: What is on your workspace right now?
A: LOL! Journal, paint, brushes, spackle, and a large piece on top that I’ve been working on…
Q: What’s your best piece of advice for artists?
A: Just DO IT! You don’t have to have the perfect place or studio. I’ve worked on the floor on tarps in a studio apartment.
