I can’t remember where it was that Lorri Scott and I met, but I remember the first time I saw her work because I have a video to remind me. It was before I ever met Lorri, and it was at Art Unraveled in Phoenix a couple of years ago. Mary Beth Shaw was vending on Saturday, and she’d just bought a way-cool vintage slip dress with a jacket and was so excited about it–we have a little video here so you can see (Keeping my fingers crossed that it embeds; it’s been really picky about videos lately):
So of course I couldn’t wait to meet Lorri and see more of her fabulous stuff–there wasn’t a lot left that day in Phoenix after the artists and instructors shopped her booth. At Art is You in Petaluma, I fell in love with one of her jackets–we talk about that in the podcast. Go here to see more in Lorri’s Etsy shop and here to visit her blog.
