Monsoon Paper Workshop with Quinn McDonald

T3491_CM_MonsoonPapers.inddQuinn McDonald introduced you to monsoon papers in her books Raw Art Journaling and Inner Hero Creative Art Journal. Now you can make monsoon papers without having to venture out in a monsoon or wasting water with a garden hose. With only a few materials (a small plastic tub, a spray mister with water, brightly colored inks and paper) you can make vibrantly colored, richly textured monsoon papers in your own home. You’ll discover that not only are these papers perfect for art journaling and mixed-media collages, they are also easy and incredibly fun to make!

Then, after you’ve dyed as many monsoon papers as you want (yes, it can be addicting!), Quinn will teach you how to re-purpose an old hardcover book by binding the monsoon papers inside. You’ll create a journal that you can use for storing your loose-leaf journal pages, or as the background colors for journaling right inside the book.
