Studio Love

I have some serious craft studio dreams for the day I buy a house and overtake a large area to fill with fabric, jewelry stuff and lots of paper. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on Ikea.com to plan-o-gram any number of room sizes and configurations, complete with computer area, large work surfaces and plenty of storage. But I’m currently biding my time with a corner and a table—I’ll take what I can get.

But this is why the pictures in The Everyday Studio Flickr group are so inspiring: I get to see the solutions artists have for everyday issues—storage, work spaces, inspiration. It’s a lot of fun to see how other people deal with the inventory and still get to create.

Here are some of my favorite pictures to date. Click on the images to get details!
