Podcast with Sandy Buffie, aka The Lint Lady

I had more fun talking to Sandy Buffie this week. She’s funny, she’s talented, and she’s doing good work: the proceeds from her portraits go to various charities, as you’ll hear in the podcast.

You can see more on Sandy’s profile page, here.

What does Sandy do? She makes portrtaits–often of celebrities like Tommy LaSorda, Jay Leno, Johnny Dep as Jack Sparrow–out of dryer lint. And not special, pure-as-the-driven-snow dryer lint, but just regular-from-your-own-house dryer lint. And they turn out like this:

Amazing, right? Go to Sandy’s website to see more, and click on the photo below to go to the podcast page, where you can listen to us talk about lint, re-using, and why Sandy does what she does.
