Here’s our next big Coffee Club project, the follow-up to the Coffee Club Book I showed you on Monday. This one was called Nightmares, and the idea behind it was that if you drink a lot of caffeinated coffee too late in the day, you’re bound to have some pretty interesting nightmares *if* you’re able to fall asleep at all.
I started it off with some simple loose pages. I don’t remember where I got the text, whether it was found or taken from a story or something I wrote. Sorry about that.
I was always way more of a facilitator than an artist; everyone else’s contributions were much richer and more detailed. Thank goodness. Left on my own back then, I was pretty bland and straight forward in my stamped stuff.

So that’s our book of coffee-induced Nightmares. On Friday I’ll show you photos of the last of our projects, from 1996, that wasn’t ever wrapped up. I like to imagine it could pack itself up and take off on its own, tracking down all the participating artists and letting them create one more page.
