Talking to Robert Dancik about Amulets and Talismans

There are few things that intrigue me more than meaningful wearable objects–you know, things that are created by hand and filled with meaning and that you can wear every day. Clothes, jewelry–it doesn’t matter. So of course you know how much I loved Robert Dancik’s book, Amulets and Talismans. He’s the creator of Faux Bone™, a material that looks like bone but is actually a distant relative of the stuff they use to make PVC pipe. He makes amazing creations out of this stuff, and he teaches his techniques in workshops around the county–make sure you check his website for his schedule.
