In this video tutorial, Tiffany Lovering will show you how to add patterned designs to a pumpkin including how to use the ridges of the pumpkin for strings. Then, you’ll add black glitter and spiders to complete the look. Tiffany will also show you how to turn the pumpkin into a fall flower vase if you’re using a fake pumpkin.

What You’ll Need:

  • Pumpkin, real or fake (if you plan on getting detailed with your tangles, fake might be a better choice so you can use it again next year)
  • Sharpie Ultra Fine oil based paint pen-white
  • Sharpie Fine point oil based paint pen-black
  • black glitter
  • plastic spiders
  • scissors
  • glue pen
  • E600 glue

Optional:

  • fake flowers
  • serrated knife

Tiffany Lovering began tangling for fun and relaxation but it quickly became a passion. In 2013 she created a YouTube channel dedicated to showing others her own tangling techniques. In addition to YouTube, she has created a small blog community where tanglers can participate in a monthly tangle swap. Tiffany resides in Tennessee with her daughter.
