Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch

Patricia Baldwin Seggewich is the author of two North Light books, Encaustic Mixed Media (2011) and Encaustic Workshop (2009). She has been painting and creating her entire life, but with no formal training in the subject. She learned her craft by attending various workshops around the United States. Eventually she began experimenting with hot wax, and there started her attachment to encaustic mixed media art. Now Patricia Baldwin Seggewich teaches workshops, specifically on the use of hot wax. In these pages you will find step- by- step tutorial from Patricia’s two books, along with book notes from our own editors and their experimentation with Patricia’s techniques.
